The performer known as D4vd was named as a person of interest in the tragic passing of Celeste Rivas, a teenager who disappeared and was later located deceased inside the singer's Tesla vehicle this past fall, as per authorities.
The decayed corpse of Rivas, aged fifteen, was located in this past autumn inside the frunk of a ebony Tesla owned by D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. The vehicle had been cited in a Hollywood area and subsequently impounded at a tow yard in Los Angeles.
Authorities suspect that Rivas almost certainly succumbed in the spring, stating that D4vd had likely been involved in dismantling and getting rid of the corpse. This musician has refused to cooperate in the probe, as stated by a police representative.
This teenager Rivas was initially reported missing from a city 60 miles from Los Angeles in last April. Her remains was subsequently located in the singer's Tesla after staff at the impound facility alerted a strong stench emanating from the vehicle.
This cause of death has not yet been ascertained, but the forensic office stated that Rivas “appears to have been dead inside the car for an lengthy duration before being located.” Police are considering her passing as a murder.
This Texas-based musician had been issued a violation in the Hollywood area just eleven days before Rivas was located in the vehicle, after violating the three-day parking limit. Locals in the Hollywood Hills reported that the Tesla had been stationed in the neighborhood for over a month.
Celeste's sibling stated that the household was aware that Rivas had a connection to the musician and that she was headed to attend a cinema with him just before she disappeared.
D4vd, referred to as “David,” is a New York-born musician famous for the popular songs “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” D4vd and his agent were staying at a Southern California residence in the Los Angeles neighborhood in this past autumn, per the home's landlord, until authorities searched the property.
D4vd has signed with Darkroom and Interscope. The artist was traveling for performances at the time Rivas's body were found, but called off those appearances following the discovery of Rivas's remains.
